Product Announcement
Output from Cerner CCL using the WITH FORMAT, SEPARATOR=" " control options has been a standard of Oracle Cerner Reporting for decades. It is a basic, functional way of generating table output from a CCL report that has limited export capabilities and no way to filter, sort or re-arrange columns once the report has been rendered.
With the power of Cerner MPages and Clinical Office, MPage Reports will transform how your CCL report developers present table data to users, AND it will empower users to do more with their reports.
With visually pleasing presentation, MPage Reports are more than just a pretty screen. Users can refine the output of their reports to meet their business needs with advanced control over data filtering, sorting and column layout.
Advanced Filtering
Your end-users will be thrilled with the filtering options available. From basic text searches, date range searches, and multi-select drop-down filter searches, physicians and other report users will be able to quickly find the data they are looking for.
Incredible Sorting
Users no longer have to rely only on the sorting provided by the CCL report developer. Now, with MPage Reports, users can adjust sorting to meet their needs up to four levels deep.
User Adjustable Columns
Being able to change the layout of the report columns is a key factor in report reusability. Usage of a CCL report can be extended to more users through the ability to customize field output. Users can easily reposition and hide fields, lock the position of a field so it doesn't scroll off-screen, and change the label and justification.
If enabled by your CCL report developer, users can also save their choices as preferences to use again at a later time.
Back-End and Operations
If a MPage Reports enabled, report is run from the back-end or through an operations job, the output will be delivered as a CSV or delimited file. Output types (CSV, Pipe, or other delimiter) and inclusion of headings will be under the full control of the CCL report writer with just a few additional lines of code.
And There's More!
Other features will include:
- Excel or Delimited Export of transformed results from the MPage. Users can filter, sort, re-arrange columns and have their changes appear in the Excel or Delimited output.
- Rows or columns can be configured to trigger actions such as opening the patient chart in PowerChart.
-
CCL Developers can add right-click context menus to trigger actions such as opening the patient chart,
running other CCL reports, or triggering a CCL MPage script that can display information in a
pop-up or side panel.
- Panels are being developed which will allow passing JSON data from a CCL script to populate fields when triggered. For example, a report may list the date and time that a specific PowerForm was completed. Using a column/row click method or context-menu, the user can execute a CCL MPage script that retrieves data from the PowerForm and presents a new panel of information containing the PowerForm data.
